Class News 12th June 2024

In English, 1HL and 1TS, have been writing wonderful wishes. In IMG, we have been researching the different methods of attacking a castle. We then produced a fact file to tell others about the fantastic facts that we had learnt.

In Maths, 1TS and 1HL have been working hard on learning how to tell the time and how to read different types of clocks. In 1MG, we have been consolidating our knowledge of multiplication and division facts.

In History, we have been exploring how castles were built and why an attack would happen. We made our very own castle and then used a battering ram, trebuchet and a belfry to attack our castles. Some stood up to the attack, but some did not!

Our Topic

This term, our topic is called ‘A Knight’s Tale’ and is all about castles and their importance in History. Take a look at some of the wonderful work we’ll be doing.
