Autumn 1 – Take a Look

We have had a busy half term settling our children back into Nursery. Here is just a snippet of what we have been doing…

We have been learning to share the nursery toys and take turns. We choose it, use it and put it away! We have been strengthening the muscles in our fingers doing dough disco and lots of finger exercises and then making marks.

In PE, we have been listening, following instructions and moving in different ways. We have enjoyed our Sing Education music lessons every week. We have learnt some new songs, learnt how to play some percussion instruments and listened to different composers.

We have talked about what we celebrate with our families. We like celebrating birthdays and we found out that some Hindu families would be celebrating Diwali at this time of the year.

Our children have enjoyed scooping out pumpkins, making wands and potions, experimenting with paint and bubbles, cutting spaghetti and lots more. What a busy half term. Fridays have been a lovely time to share a story with parents and carers too, thank you for time.

Thank you for all your support. We hope you can see the progress your child is making so far this term.
