Spring 2- Week 4

We have had such a busy week this week! The children have been working hard to prepare to write their closing statement to defend Hamlet in court. Throughout the past few weeks, the children have been reciting the story of Hamlet and trying to justify his actions throughout the play. Next week they will begin to plan their statement to prove his innocence in court. In maths, the children have focused on perimeter, area and volume of different shapes, please encourage your children to practise this at home to deepen their understanding in preparation for their SATs. In science, we have been labelling the eye and understanding how we are able to see. In PE, we have moved onto focus on our batting skills within a game of rounders, the children are improving week by week.

Keep up the amazing work Year 6! You are doing brilliantly, keep arriving to school with a positive attitude 🙂
