Nursery 12.12.25

Wow! What a wonderful week in nursery. Our EYFS performance was amazing. We hope you enjoyed it and were as proud of the children as we were! Thank you for all of your support and helping your child to practise the songs. I’m having trouble uploading photos, so I’ll pop some on for you all to see ASAP!

Skills we are practising: Putting socks and shoes on. Thank you for encouraging your child to put their own socks and shoes on. We will continue to encourage your child to put their own coat and wellies on too! 🙂

Story of the Week

The Christmas Story. We’ve enjoyed lots of different Christmas stories from our reading corner this week and Friday was our last Come and Read for the Autumn term. We hope you have enjoyed coming into nursery to share stories with us, we will continue this after the Christmas holiday.

Birthdays

Happy Birthday to Jack! We hope you had a lovely day!

Nursery Pupil of the Week

This week has been another lovely, busy week in nursery and we would like to give our Pupil of the Week certificate to Rosie for being a wonderful listener and having a lovely week in nursery!

Message from Nursery:

Christmas Run: On Monday 15th, the EYFS children will take part in a Christmas Run just for FUN! We will provide Santa hats and bells!

Party Food: Please send party food contributions in by Wednesday 17th December. Thank you 🙂 Morning: Please send in a pack of six wrapped cakes. Afternoon: Please send in a pack of 6 cheese rolls.

Christmas Party Next Week: ALL children to come to nursery in their party clothes at 1pm on Thursday 18th December. Pick up at 3pm.

No PE lessons next week. Please make sure your child comes to school in a suitable coat and bring wellies in a bag on their peg. No wellies needed on party day. They are really trying to be more independent with putting on their own wellies. Well done nursery!

We hope you have a nice weekend! Mrs Huggins 🙂
