What a busy week its been this week! It has been World Nursery Rhyme Week and the children have been singing and joining in with many nursery rhyme activities. We started the week with ‘Press play’ and the children listened to a story and acted out the nursery rhymes. We have also had a lovely visit from some year 6s who came to join the nursery and sing with the children. It has also been maths week, we have not only been counting but also been learning about ‘mass’, weighing different objects and investigating which objects were heavy or light. This week’s ‘Come and Read’, the stories included maths. At the end of the week, we would like to thank you all for the kind donations for ‘Children in Need’ and the children enjoyed taking part in Pudsey activities like making the Pudsey hats.

Warm up sessions

Every morning, the children start their session off with different warm ups – Moving around in different ways, work with ribbons, disco dough (fine motor skills) and many more activities.
