Y3/4 Class News 10.05.24

As the weather gets hotter please be sun aware at school.

A very busy four day week for everyone in Year 3/4. In English we have been listening to inspiring speeches by Martin Luther King Jr and Malala Yousafzia in order to get ready to write our own speeches demanding the protection of children’s rights. In Maths we have continued with working on money but next it will be reading the time using both a digital and an analogue clock. It has been Sun Awareness week, the British Association of Dermatologists are running a summer-long Sun Awareness campaign. This week to we have reinforce the need for sun protection at school and we have tried to inspire people to raise awareness themselves by creating a Sun Safe Poster.

Please support your child at home to access TTRS as often as possible and to complete their homework each week as this will help them to secure their multiplication tables knowledge. Check out our loyalty card winners below.

You will receive an invitation from your child to the open afternoons. PLEASE REPLY to ensure books are prepared for your visit.
