Y3/4 Class News 25.01.24

Yet another busy week in the Y3/4 corridor. Everyone really enjoyed our audio game “Now Press Play” and using our laptops for Ed Shed and TTRS. This week, in English, we have been looking into poetry and how to use alliteration and rhyming can be used to good effect. Next week will will be writing our own poem, thinking very carefully about our vocabulary, to make us smile, laugh or cringe! We have been working hard in maths on the four operations to get ready for Maths Week. Our Science investigations into toothpaste proved very interesting, because we all known how important toothpaste is. In Topic work we have been learning more about the Anglo-Saxons and why they came to our shores.

Thank you to our families who returned the Questionnaire. Please remember to keep logging onto TTRS regularly to practise your tables and that the homework page shows the work for Bronze, Silver and Gold.
