Class News 13/10/23

Our first swimming week has now finished. Well done to all our Y4 swimmers who are probably very tired this Friday afternoon. All our swimmers have been making great progress, however our Y3s and Y4s (that are not swimming) have been very busy on their Design and Technology Project making the Parthenon, after completeing a fantastic theatre mask. In English we are continuing with character descriptions, while in Maths we have begun looking at adding and subtraction. Everyone had a treat on Thursday afternoon when we were invited to a singing assembly. Super controlled singing was heard from all our classes.

Notices & Dates

  • PE is now on a Tuesday and Thursday
    • Please come to school in the correct P.E. kit (black shorts/leggings/joggers, plain white t-shirt, black trainers/plimsols and a red school jumper/cardigan).
  • Open afternoon – On Wednesday 18th October, we’re inviting parents and carers into our classrooms to look at the great websites we use in school to support our learning. The session will begin at 2.30pm. Please come into school through the dining hall door. This will be an opportunity to see TTRS, Spelling shed and accelerated reader in action.
