Class News 23.02.24

A fantasticly busy week in the Y3/4 corridor. In English we have begun to think about our descrpitive writing skills, using excellent adjectives and interesting adverbials, along side our figurative language of similie, metaphor and personification! Looking forward to publishing this writing next week. In Maths we have been looking at measurements and how to convert between meters, centimeters and millimeters. Some children even set up a shop to look at how to give change when converting pounds into pence. In Science we got quite messy looking at the digestive system. In topic we are moving towards the Viking era and we have discussed Viking Runes and Longship Heads in Art. Fabulous sketches were started on Friday afternoon using a variety of values to show darks and lights.
