Y3/Y4 Weekly News – 22/09/23

Another jam packed week in lower key stage 2. in English, we have been reading about the different Gods of Ancient Greece and how they messed with the lives of the mortals under Mount Olympus. In Maths, we have worked on more place value tasks and on Friday we had our second times tables test. This time it was on the 4 times tables. We all worked hard in P.E. on Thursaday to creat a motif in dance about cats, there was such a good improvement in the unison of our moves. In Science, it was time to look at circuits and try and make a simple series circuit for ourselves. Congratulations to all the teams who got their bulb to light up. We ended the week in a super messy way by doing papier mache in art, on the first step to creating our Greek Vases. We hope they will look fabulous, in a few weeks, when they are finished.

Inside your child’s reading record you will find a sticker that shows their scores in spellings, times tables and number of reads at home this week. Every Friday we will fill in a new sticker, in their reading record, to show you how your child is getting on.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. See you on Monday.
