Class news 21.12.23

What a wonderful week to end a busy Autumn Term. Thank you to all of the parents who joined us in our Christingle celebration at St Chad’s Church at the beginning of the week. The children spoke clearly and sang beautifully and made us all very proud! In English, the children worked hard to complete their non-chronological reports on Volcanoes and they looked spectacular! In Maths we continued working on multiplication and division but also had time to create some amazing Christmas tessellation trees which we used to decorate the classrooms. We enjoyed a Christmas Party where we played games, had a dance and enjoyed some party food. Thank you to parents who sent in snacks for us to share. The children completed the Reindeer Run on Wednesday for Teesside Hospice and the whole school raised over £250! Thank you for your support in reading at home, accessing TTRS and EdShed and also our homework projects this half term. All children who worked hard on their projects received a treat and a certificate on the last day. Well done 😊

Thank you for your continued support. Wishing you all a lovely break. See you back in school on Monday 8th January, 2024 ready for our Spring term!
