Class News 7.6.24

We have had a lovely first week back of our Summer Term 2. We cannot believe how quickly this year is going!

It was lovely to see the children back to school this week and enthusiastic about their new topic ‘A Rivers Journey’. In English, we have been planning and publishing Kenning poems about extreme weathers. The children produced some excellent poems and enjoyed performing them to others. In Science, we explored the characteristics of solids, liquids and gases and sorted examples of each into groups. During our Topic lesson, we identified rivers around the world and used an atlas to plot these rivers onto a map. Super work everyone!

The Year 3/4 staff would like to say a huge WELL DONE to the Year 4 children who sat their MTC this week. The children tried their very best and we are extremely proud of them all. Well done, Year 4!
