This week, we have been learning about the Farm in preparation for our visit next week. We enjoyed sharing the story ‘The Thief of Bracken Farm’ and spotting lots of different animals.
Our Stay and Play sessions continue on Wednesday afternoon, we have spots available for this week so please see a member of staff on the Reception door to sign up! Thank you to those parents who have already attended. The children have thoroughly enjoyed your visits and are always so excited!
On Monday, we were thinking about spatial awareness in maths. We worked as a team to complete lots of jigsaw puzzles, thinking carefully about how to manipulate the pieces to complete the picture. Well done Reception.

In RE, our big RE question is, Which places are special and why? This week we were looking at the similarities and differences between a church and a mosque. We included stained glass windows, an altar and pews in the church, then a minaret, a dome, prayer mats and a place for Muslims to perform wudu in the mosque. We worked very hard on these special buildings even Mr Griffiths came to take a look!
