The children have had such a busy week in school this week! Take a look at what we have been up to…

The children have been using the paints to create beautiful self portraits to add to our art gallery! They thought carefully about which shapes and colours they would need to create their faces.

On Tuesday, our music teacher Mrs Collins come along to work with the children. They did a fantastic job learning to keep to the rhythm using scarves and tapping to the beat.

On Wednesday, the children had their first PE lesson with Mrs Short. This term, we will focus on fundamental movements and negotiating the space around us. Keep up the super work Reception! Well done to our PE superstar this week -⭐️ Theo ⭐️

In addition to all of this, the children have continued to explore our indoor and outdoor areas too. We even got chance to look at and hold some hailstone on Wednesday! 🌨️

Request

This week, we have been talking about our families and homes. The children have been building houses using lots of different materials such as lego and building blocks. Please could you send a photo of the front of your house to our school email contact@newhambridge.org.uk so the children can use these for inspiration!
