Each week your child will have 6 assignments on Reading Plus to complete. These may be a mixture of visual skills, vocabulary or reading comprehension. Your child needs to be aiming for a reading speed of 185 words per minute and 80-100% accuracy rate on their reading comprehensions, the more your child uses the programme the more confident they become as a fluent reader.
This week children have been given -er, -or and -ar ending to explore on EdShed. We recommend 5 minutes each day as these are words the children will continue to use beyond the school gates.
Your child will have access to TTRS, this week we will be checking your child’s accuracy on Gig; they will have 100 multiplication questions to answer. Last time 5 children achieved 100% – Can we improve this score this week? 🙂
In addition to our homework, your child can access additional Maths Revision each week through Maths.co.uk. This week we have created a Coordinates and Statistics Revision check to help them secure their knowledge and understanding of Arithmetic expectations within this area of maths.
