Homework Club will be on next week as we plan to keep the children’s structure as normal as possible for them. Just to remind you, children are invited into school at 8.15am for a hot breakfast with their friends every day next week. The food will change daily and it will be lovely for all the children to catch up and relax over breakfast before they revisit our top tips each day. In previous years, we have witnessed this to be a valuable opportunity for all children to be a part and we look forward to welcoming them into school each day 🙂
Over the next two weeks, we will be recapping particular spelling rules with your child in school in preparation for their End of Year Statutory Assessments. Therefore, on EdShed this week we would like your child to revisit some of their previous assignments and choose spelling patterns they would like to recap.
Every week for Reading your child will have their own reading book chosen from the library to quiz on using Accelerated Reader, and they will receive personalised set assignments on Reading Plus to complete (your child will have time in school to access Reading Plus too to ensure they can complete the assignments).
For Maths this week, children will be completing Set C, Test 4 in their CGP Books and on TTRS they have been given free choice to really enjoy the learning platform and test themselves and their knowledge! 🙂
For English this week, children will be completing Set C, Test 4 in their CGP Books for Reading and GPS.
