Thank you to all those parents and carers who have support their child with their Easter 10-4-10 Booklets in Reading and Math. It was fabulous to see so many return today. A prize will be handed out to one lucky person in each class this week for their commitment to learning over Easter, the winner will be chosen from random. All those who returned booklets we receive an extra break on Friday as a reward for their extra hard work in the holidays – well done!
Over the next two weeks, we will be recapping particular spelling rules with your child in school in preparation for their End of Year Statutory Assessments. Therefore, on EdShed this week we have added 3 adjective games to support them with their expanded noun phrases in their narrative writing this week.
Every week for Reading your child will have their own reading book chosen from the library to quiz on using Accelerated Reader, and they will receive personalised set assignments on Reading Plus to complete (your child will have time in school to access Reading Plus too to ensure they can complete the assignments).
For Maths this week, children will be completing Set C, Test 3 in their CGP Books and on TTRS they need to complete a Soundcheck. I am hoping for 100%! 🙂
