Newham Bridge Nursery 2025-2026

Welcome back to Newham Bridge Nursery and for those who are new to us, welcome! We are happy to see you and we are looking forward to sharing your child’s learning journey with you in the Foundation Stage at Newham Bridge Primary School.

This week, we have really enjoyed getting to know the nursery children and helping them to settle into our nursery routines. They have all come in ready to explore the different areas both indoors and outdoors. The train tracks, play dough and kitchen area have been very popular! The children have been working on learning each other’s names and ‘Choose it, Use it, Put it away.’

Stories of the Week:

Nursery Pupil of the Week

We are so proud of how all our nursery children are settling back in. Thank you to Isabelle for helping our new children settle into the morning nursery. Well done for being our first nursery Pupil of the Week!

Happy 4th Birthday Theo. We hope you had a great day.

Toothbrushing: The children have started brushing their teeth in nursery as part of our daily routine.

Come and Read will be on a Friday, beginning on September 26th. We know how important sharing stories is for communication and language, so every Friday morning we open our doors for you to come into nursery and share a story with your child. Morning session is 8.30 till 8.45am. Afternoon session is 12.15 till 12.30pm. (then normal pick up times.) Any questions please ask.

Nursery Attendance:

We are very excited to be a part of the whole school ‘Attendance Champions.’ A letter regarding attendance will be in your child’s tray on Friday 11th September.

Thank you for your support this week! Have a lovely weekend! Mrs Huggins 🙂
