We are delighted to welcome all the morning and afternoon nursery children back and welcome the new children that have visited us this week. Mrs Hilton, Mrs Bell and Mrs Proctor have enjoyed working with all the children and they have all been amazing with settling into the new routines. Nursery have had the opportunity to listen to stories about being ‘helpful and kind’ , settling into school , explored the new areas and have shown wonderful imagination. We are gradually introducing new starters so we can give your child the individual attention they need to help them feel safe and secure and to get them use to the other children, their surroundings and daily routines.

Nursery Rhyme of the Week
A Nursery rhyme booklet has been provided and next Friday a child will have been chosen to take the Nursery rhyme bag home and bring back the following Monday, to learn and share the rhyme with their parents and other family members. They will be provided a booklet to draw something from the nursery they have enjoyed singing.
Next week the children will be learning nursery rhymes but will particularly singing ‘Incy Wincy Spider’.
Star of the Day
Each day next week a child will come home with a certificate because they have been chosen ‘Star of the Day’. They have been chosen because they have followed one of the Golden rules.
I have been so pleased with the Nursery children this week, helping me settle into nursery, being kind and helpful.
After a busy first week, have a lovely weekend and we will see you on Monday.
