This week, nursery listened to the story ‘Oliver’s vegetables’ and we explored different vegetables. They understood what types of vegetables farmers and ourselves grow in the ground and how they are prepared before eating. During snack time, the nursery children enjoyed trying and tasting the different types of vegetables: Spinach, beetroot, broccoli, cauliflower and green pepper. We were very proud that many tried some vegetables they had never seen before. The children also created wonderful pieces of art work printing with vegetables and looking at the vegetables and painting them. In PE, the children continued developing their throwing and catching skills with balloons.
