We have made it! This half term has been a delight! All the children have settled into the routines and followed the Golden rules. They have enjoyed all the topics and activities for this term. This week the children have enjoyed Halloween week and have loved dressing up as witches and wizards, pretended to make potions and created many different arts and crafts such as, Spiders webs (threading), witches’ hats, pumpkin prints and ghosts. Well done to all my children you have all worked well in your adult-led activities within the topics.
It was wonderful to see many parents for Parents’ evening this week, letting the parents know how well the children have settled.
There is a change next term for afternoon children, we have two coaches working with the children.
Morning Nursery PE is on Wednesday morning working with Mrs Short.
Afternoon Nursery PE is on a Tuesday afternoon working with Mighty Warriors.
No PE Clothing is required as the children take their socks and shoes off in the hall, but the children can wear black joggers or leggings on these particular days. Please can I ask that children who have their ears pierced, to have their earrings removed on these days otherwise they will be covered. Earrings should only be small studs.
Nursery would like to invite you to come and join your child to a ‘ Come and Read’ session. Join your child to look and share a favourite book!
Wednesday morning 8.30am-8.45am
Wednesday afternoon 12.15pm – 12.30pm
The nursery children have been brushing their teeth amazingly this week with their own toothbrush in the nursery. We watch a video, making it fun, encouraging them to brush their teeth and keeping them healthy.
