PLEASE REMEMBER

Our Teddy Bears Picnic on Tuesday 18th July. Morning nursery parents should arrive at 9.45 with childs favourite teddy. Afternoon nursery parents should arrive at 1.30 with their childs favourite teddy.

What a fun filled week in Nursery this week! Our focus this week has been transition as some of our Nursery children are moving up to Reception in September. We had a lovely story about a girl called Klaudia who was starting Reception and this opened up a lovely discussion about how our children are feeling about moving up to Reception. The children had mixed feelings about this but our activities this week have reassured the children.

On Wednesday we had another amazing turn-out for our come and read sessions. We new Reception starter lunches. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying their lunch, chatting to friends and meeting the new children who attend other Nurseries. We also recorded a wonderful goodbye song for our Y6 leavers.

We thankfully could have our rearranged AM Nursery sports day on Thursday. The children had so much fun and they were amazing. It was lovely to see so many parents/carers come to support the children and by the smiles on faces you really enjoyed it too!

On Thursday it was our transition afternoon. Some of our children went in to Reception to meet their new teachers. The other children who will return to Nursery in September met their new teacher. AM Nursery visited their Reception class on Wednesday and Friday morning.

The children had another fantastic music session with Mrs Huggins. We have some very talented children.
