A wonderful week this week, the nursery children have enjoyed sharing the story – Little Red Riding Hood. In the writing area, nursery created markings on a large map to help Little Red Riding Hood find Grandma’s cottage. They created cakes and biscuits in the malleable area to add to Grandma’s basket using the different tools. They enjoyed making a Red riding Hood, folding and sticking paper. At the end of the week, nursery tried a variety of fruits; melon, pineapple, raspberries and cherries, understanding the importance of eating healthy and finding out which fruits they liked and disliked.
