Weekly News 12.04.24

Welcome back everyone and Nursery have had a wonderful week this week, starting with telling Mrs Hilton and Mrs Bell about their Easter break and learning about Eid celebrations. We then moved onto learning our new topic for this term ‘On the Farm’. The children learnt about what animals they would find on a farm and about their different homes- stables, pond, kennel, sty…. They even matched other type of animals with their homes in the investigation area. They developed their fine motor skills with cutting animal pictures and adding them to a farm and creating paper plate pigs and decorative chickens. They enjoyed playing with the small world farm and putting farmyard jigsaws together. The children also enjoyed a visit from Mrs Collins, singing and making music with the instruments.
