We have had a busy week this week, interacting in all the areas and enjoying the activities. The children have been telling me about their family household and drew pictures of family members. They have painted portraits and used different materials to create their family members. We have continued learning different nursery rhymes, especially counting ones. This week we have been following the golden rule ‘To look after things in nursery‘ and reminded children that when interacting in the areas they need to look after the property and also tidy up after themselves.
Morning Nursery PE is on Wednesday morning
Afternoon Nursery PE is on a Monday afternoon
No PE Clothing is required as the children take their socks and shoes off in the hall, but the children can wear black joggers or leggings on these particular days.
Please can I ask that children who have their ears pierced, to have their earrings removed on these days otherwise they will be covered. Earrings should only be small studs.
Nursery Rhyme of the Week
It was wonderful drawings from the nursery children who took the nursery rhyme bags home. Isabella learnt and created ‘The Wheels on the Bus’ and Peggy learnt and created ‘The 5 little Ducklings’. Here are their creations. Well done!
This week Primose (morning) and Arabella (afternoon) have been chosen to take the nursery rhyme bags home so look forward to seeing their work in the activity books.
This week we will be listening and learning to Twinkle Twinkle Little star (bbc)
