It has been Nursery Rhyme Week this week and we have been learning five nursery rhymes: Jack and Jill, The wheels on the Bus, Hickory Dickory Dock, Head, shoulders, knees and toes and Row, row, row your boat. We have been singing and learning the actions and the children have enjoyed creating many paintings, collages and models to take home. At the end of the week, the children were asked which nursery rhyme was their favourite. We created a ‘human’ bar chart:

The most favourite nursery rhyme in morning nursery was Jack and Jill and Head, shoulders, knees and toes. The most favourite nursery rhyme in afternoon nursery was Jack and Jill and Row, row, row your boat. It looks like Jack and Jill was a great favourite!

The children enjoyed ‘Children in Need’ today. Thank you for joining in and helping support ‘Children In Need’.
