It has been a wonderful week this week, we focused on the Gingerbread story, listening to the story and role playing in the home area. The children created their own Gingerbread men in the writing area, adding their own patterns. The children were excited to be introduced to ‘Jingle’ our mischievous elf and see all the beautiful decorations in the nursery ready for Christmas. They were especially excited when it had snowed and the children were able to play in the snow. We discovered lots of frozen ice in the water troughs, looking at the beautiful icicles.
