A lovely, busy first week back for our final half term. The nursery children all came back with lovely smiles and couldn’t wait to tell the nursery staff about their activities that took place during the half term holidays with their families. We started the week talking about patterns in maths, what patterns we could find around us? The children participated and created different activities and added a few patterns themselves on ice lollies and ice creams. The children began to practise their sporting activities for Sports day. This week we were aiming at buckets with beanbags and balancing beanbags on rackets. At the end of the week, nursery had a wonderful experience with the ‘Now Press play’ headphones. They were able to put the headphones on and listen well to a story about the Seaside. While listening to the story, they would imagine they imagine they were at the seaside. The children had great fun!
