Homework Week Beginning 20.10.2025

Due to Parents Evenings and Peat Rigg Residential this week, there will be no Homework Club. Children are encouraged to continue their online learning via Reading Plus, EdShed and TTRS. As mentioned in previous weeks, children have 6 assignments on Reading Plus to complete, we recommend a Soundcheck and Garage on TTRS and Exploring Mathematical vocabulary on EdShed over the next two weeks.

Last week your child completed their first attempt at some SATs papers. We have used these to assess any areas of knowledge that have previously been taught and need revisiting, children may find themselves supported by different teachers in school next half term. Your children shared they enjoyed getting to see what a real paper would look like, many feeling more confident already about their next target e.g. trying every question, a guess may lead to a mark especially on multiple choice, following the given instruction, or asking for a teacher to read a question they have found tricky to readIn your parents evening appointments we will share with you your child’s areas of focus, your children will also be given their results in their Homework diary to track their progress each half term 🙂
