Key Notices

Key Dates:

Whole School Winter Fayre Wednesday 3.30pm- 4.30pm

EYFS Performance: A Little Nativity Tuesday 9th December 10am Performance and 2pm Performance

EYFS Christmas Party Thursday 18th December

Attendance: Pupil Absence

If your child is absent, for in excess of 2 days, schools are required to complete a welfare check on the third day, this supports the safeguarding of the child. Ideally you will be contacted to arrange the visit, however, if school are unable to contact you, an unannounced visit will take place and a calling card provided. We have a statutory responsibility to safeguard all of our children and appreciate your support.

Uniform

Your child needs to wear school uniform so they feel part of the Newham Bridge family. This includes:

* Red jumper or cardigan * Grey skirt or trousers * White shirt or polo shirt * Black shoes (velcro).

A suitable coat (for all weathers)

PE Days

PE sessions have changed. PE will take place:

Tuesday – Mighty Warriors

Thursday – Mrs Short ball skills – hand control

Children need to come to school in their PE kits:

Black joggers / leggings, white polo shirt and black trainers

It is easier for girls to wear socks rather than tights so they can put on their socks and shoes easily.

Come and Read

Every Monday, parents are invited to join their child on a morning to come and read a book. When the doors open at 8.40am, parents can pop into reception and share a book with their child until doors close at 9.00am.

Readers of the Week

These children have been sharing their books and reading their oral blending books at home on a regular basis. Well done everyone!

Pupil of the Week

In Rainbow group, Pupil of the Week goes to Miles for always being friendly in the areas when creating ideas.

In Sunshine group, Pupil of the Week goes to Ivy for super independence in the areas.

Have a super weekend everyone!
