Weekly news 12.12.25

We are super proud of every child in reception class this week, putting on two great performances for their Parents and Carers and we are sure you are proud of them too. The children loved being on stage and singing their hearts out- Well Done Rainbows and Sunshines! The children have also been super busy starting their Christmas / holiday crafts – covering themselves with glitter! The children enjoyed having Christmas dinner this week, filling their stomachs with turkey (or vegetarian quiche), roasties, carrots, turnip, peas pigs in blankets and chocolate log cake – Delicious!

If your child is absent, for in excess of 2 days, schools are required to complete a welfare check on the third day, this supports the safeguarding of the child. Ideally you will be contacted to arrange the visit, however, if school are unable to contact you, an unannounced visit will take place and a calling card provided. We have a statutory responsibility to safeguard all of our children and appreciate your support.

Uniform

Your child needs to wear school uniform so they feel part of the Newham Bridge family. This includes:

* Red jumper or cardigan * Grey skirt or trousers * White shirt or polo shirt * Black shoes (velcro).

A suitable coat (for all weathers)
