Reception have enjoyed birdwatching this week, as it is RSPB national Big Garden Birdwatching weekend. The children had the chance to use binoculars and spot the local birds around our playground. They made bird mud seed biscuits for the birds and made their own binoculars. In PE, the children developed some dancing skills, following a sequence to ‘Humpty Dumpty’ and learned some good football passing skills. In maths this week, the children understood counting and ordering their numbers using numberblocks.

The children enjoyed listening to the story ‘Five Minutes Peace’, joining in discussions about how the characters were feeling and developing new vocabulary.
