Reception this week have had the chance to practise their Nativity ‘The Little Nativity’ and next week you will be amazed by the performances. In the classroom, the children have turned into little elves and been working in the workshop, checking present lists and wrapping parcels ready for Santa to take away.

This week we have had the super ‘Winter Wonderland Fayre’ raising £2052.25 – WOW! Thank you for your support buying raffle tickets and gifts. Well done to those who won some prizes!

Come and Read

It is always lovely to see so many parents and carers come and visit reception in the morning and share books with their children. Thank you for all your support.

Attendance: Pupil Absence

If your child is absent, for in excess of 2 days, schools are required to complete a welfare check on the third day, this supports the safeguarding of the child. Ideally you will be contacted to arrange the visit, however, if school are unable to contact you, an unannounced visit will take place and a calling card provided. We have a statutory responsibility to safeguard all of our children and appreciate your support.

Uniform

Your child needs to wear school uniform so they feel part of the Newham Bridge family. This includes:

* Red jumper or cardigan * Grey skirt or trousers * White shirt or polo shirt * Black shoes (velcro).

A suitable coat (for all weathers) 

Pupil of the Week

In Rainbow group, Pupil of the Week goes to Dottie for remembering her words and singing well in the nativity rehearsal.

In Sunshine group, Pupil of the Week goes to Freddie for being very confident with his words and singing well in the nativity rehearsals.
