key stage one – 23.5.25

The children have had a fantastic week and they have tried incredibly hard.

In Maths, 1TS have been exploring measuring using centimetres and progressed on to comparing mass (heavier or lighter).
1MG and 1AC have been exploring the rotation of shapes in geometry and then completed our end of block task.

In English, 1TS have been planning a postcard and progressed on to writing their postcard.

1MG and 1AC have been writing a plot weave narrative linked to the Lighthouse keepers lunch. The children enjoyed writing this.

In art, 1TS have been busy creating moving seaside pictures.

1MG and 1AC have made some wonderful habitat boxes with movable animals inside. They all looked amazing.

Notices

School closes Friday 23rd May for half term and reopens Monday 2nd June at 8.40 am. We hope you all have a wonderful half term.
