Key Stage One – 4.7.25

The children have had a fantastic week and they have tried incredibly hard.

The children had a wonderful time on the inflatables on Monday during the day.
Our summer fair was a huge success and great fun was had by all. We would like to thank everyone for their kind donations to make class hampers and donations for tombola prizes.

In Maths, 1TS have been exploring fractions. Finding half and progressed onto making quarters.
1MG and 1AC have been solving addition and subtraction word problems then progressed onto multiplication and division word problems.

In English, 1TS have been writing what they have enjoyed in year 1 and what they are looking forward to doing in the summer holidays.

1MG and 1AC have been exploring poetry and then wrote their own Diamante Poem.

In topic, 1TS have been writing a fact file about Grace O’Malley.

1MG and 1AC have been doing research on Grace O’Malley and then wrote up the facts they had found.
