Key Stage One 13.6.25

The children have had a fantastic week and they have tried incredibly hard.

In Maths, 1TS have been counting in 2’s 5’s and 10’s. Exploring equal and unequal amounts then progressed onto completing number sentences to find the amount of objects.
1MG and 1AC have been exploring fractions and then progressed onto finding a half, quarter and a third.

In English, 1TS have been exploring the features of a recount then progressed onto planning their own recount.

1MG and 1AC have been learning about the features we need to include in a character description then progressed onto planning their own character description of Grace O’Malley.

Our topic this half term is Swashbucklers and as part of this 1MG and 1AC have learning about Grace O’Malley. In art they made some amazing parrot collages.

In topic, 1TS have been exploring pirates and answering questions about what pirates and do and what they look like to us.

This week the year 2 children have brought home a letter about lunch arrangements for year 3. Please can you complete and sign the form and return to school as soon as possible.
