Key Stage One – 14.3.25

The children have had a fantastic week and they have tried incredibly hard.

In Maths, 1TS have been practising their number bonds to 20, to help them solve subtraction questions.

1MG and 1AC have been learning about measurement, including cm and m. We have been measuring objects as well as comparing different sizes.

In English, 1TS have started to write a set of instructions on how to grow a plant.

1MG and 1AC have been consolidating our knowledge of different grammatical features such as; adverbs, noun phrases and question sentences.

Our topic this half term is, Pen Pals. In this topic, we will be comparing the United Kingdom to the Non-European country of India, particularly Goa. We are looking forward to sharing this work with you!

Pupil of the week in 1TS is Isaac for trying really hard with his handwriting.
