Key Notices

Across this term, we have been looking at the season of Autumn. In school, we are making a display about how we celebrate this season. If you go on any Autumn walks, pumpkin picking trips or anything linked to Autumn, we would love to see! Please send a photo to the school address and we will be able to share it with the class, and on our display. We look forward to sharing your wonderful experiences.

Uniform

Your child needs to wear school uniform so they feel part of the Newham Bridge family. This includes:

* Red jumper or cardigan * Grey skirt or trousers * White shirt or polo shirt * Black shoes (velcro).

A suitable coat (for all weathers)

Children are learning to put their cardigans and jumpers in trays independently if they don’t want to wear them and their coats on pegs, but it is really important that these items are labelled with your child’s full name.

PE Days

PE will take place every Wednesday this term. Children need to come to school in their PE kits:

Black joggers / leggings, white polo shirt and black trainers

Weather changes

As the weather changes and turns to Autumn, please ensure that the children bring a coat to school. We spend time playing outside in most weathers and a sunny morning can turn into a chilly afternoon quickly! Please label their coat.

Come and Read

Every Monday, parents are invited to join their child on a morning to come and read a book. When the doors open at 8.40am, parents can pop into reception and share a book with their child until doors close at 9.00am.

Pupil of the Week

In Rainbow group, Pupil of the Week goes to Alys, for being a lovely role model and being independent in the areas.

In Sunshine group, Pupil of the Week goes to Teddy, for showing enthusiasm in the areas and playing well with his friends.

Star Reader

This week, Louie has received a reading certificate for reading 25 times at home. Well done Louie! Happy reading!

Have a lovely weekend everybody!
