Weekly News 12.9.25

We have all had a super full week in Reception this week and all the children have enjoyed interacting in the areas and making new friends. They have learned daily routines and helped in the areas, tidying up after their play. This Wednesday, the children had the opportunity to enjoy music with Mrs Collins and develop their Gross motor skills with the Sports Coach Mrs Short. What an enjoyable week!

What a fun-packed week with friends

Key Notices

The reception doors open at 8.40am and home time is 3pm. Please ensure your child has their school bag, water bottle and are wearing the correct uniform.

Uniform

Your child needs to wear school uniform so they feel part of the Newham Bridge family. This includes:

* Red jumper or cardigan * Grey skirt or trousers * White shirt or polo shirt * Black shoes (velcro)

A suitable coat (for all weathers)

Children are learning to put their cardigans and jumpers in trays if they don’t want to wear them and their coats on pegs, but it is really important that these items are labelled with your child’s full name.

PE Days

PE will take place every Wednesday this term. Children need to come to school in their PE kits:

Black joggers / leggings, white polo shirt and black trainers

Weather changes

As the weather changes and turns to Autumn, please ensure that the children bring a coat to school. We spend time playing outside in most weathers and a sunny morning can turn into a chilly afternoon quickly! Please label their coat.

Pupil of the Week

In Sunshine group, Pupil of the Week goes to Marwa, for always coming into school with a big smile and playing well with her friends.

In Rainbow group, Pupil of the Week goes to Jasper, for playing in the areas well and being a good friend.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
