Phonics children
Children who attend daily phonics sessions also have spellings on Spelling Shed. Please practise these regularly.
Times tables
We are continuing learning our times tables.
Children in year 4 will take their Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) later this year, they will need to be able to recall all of the multiplication facts up to 12 x 12. By the end of year 3, our children should be able to rapidly recall the multiplication facts for the 2, 5, 10, 3, 4, 6 and 8 times table. Accessing TTRS as regularly as possible will support your child to achieve this as well as practising weekly times tables.
This week we will be recapping our 6 times table.
