Weekly news 11.10.24

The nursery children have had a super week this week. This week, the children listened to the stories of ‘The pitter pattern’ and ‘Simon sock’, helping them to recognise patterns. We have been recognising different types of patterns that can be found around us and some children were even able to create ABAB patterns with different objects. The children enjoyed listening to the story of ‘The Leaf thief’, they had to find out who was the suspect, who was pinching the leaves off the squirrel’s tree -the blue bird, mouse, woodpecker or the wind? The children were creative with drawing around the leaves with different autumn colour pens, leaf printing and painting with sticks.
