HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Nursery would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! It has been a great week back in nursery and we have been super proud on how well all the children had settled back into the nursery environment. It was lovely to see the children enter the nursery with huge smiles on their faces, excited to be back and we are so amazed on how many children have grown taller so quickly. The children loved sharing their news about their holidays and also shared with us what they got from Santa. This terms topic is about ‘People who help’ and in the home area the children loved writing and posting letters and postcards and dressing up like a Postman. Both sessions have had a lovely visit from Mrs Collins for music, listening to sounds like the rain, sea or wind and making those sounds with instruments and singing songs. We have been counting up to five and showing the numbers on our fingers, joining in with rhymes too. The children have also enjoyed their PE session using the apparatus in the hall, developing their balancing skills.
