YEAR 1 CLASS NEWS- 08.05.26

We have had a wonderful week in Year 1 and the children have worked incredibly hard!

In English, we have been exploring acrostic poems about animals. The children had fun.

In Maths, we have been exploring 2′ 5’s and 10’s. We then progressed onto recognising equal and unequal groups.

In Topic, we have made a storyboard to show the life of Edith Cavell.

Notices

Homework – Homework will be handed out every Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.

Coats -The weather is changing and is unpredictable. Please can children bring a coat/jacket to school every day.

Water bottles – Plastic water bottles only.

PE – Our PE days this term are Tuesday and Thursday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls/trainers, plain joggers (no branding), school jumper for outdoors. Please remove earrings for PE.
