WELCOME BACK – 24.04.26

We have had a wonderful first week back! The children have settled back into our daily routine well and worked incredibly hard.

Our topic this half term is ‘Hospitals and Healthcare’. Throughout this topic the children will be learning about how Florence Nightingale and Edith Cavell helped to change nursing and hospitals.

In English, we have explored the features of a postcard in preparation to write our own from the Scutari Hospital during the Crimean war.

In Maths, we have explored measure and compared the mass of different objects.

This week we held our annual open afternoon. The children really enjoyed showing off their work. Thank you to all who attended.
