We have had a wonderful first week back! The children have settled back into our daily routine well and worked incredibly hard.
In English we have been exploring the features of a setting description. Ready to write our own setting description next week.
In Maths we have been exploring subtraction within 20 and finished the week off with a game of subtraction and addition bingo.
This term our Topic is Technology over time. Within this topic we will be exploring how technology has changed over the past 60 years.
Notices
Homework – Homework will be handed out every Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.
Spellings – spellings will be handed out every Friday for the children to practise ready for our spelling quiz the following Friday.
Coats -The weather is changing and is unpredictable. Please can children bring a coat to school every day.
Water bottles – Plastic water bottles only.
PE – Our PE days this term are Wednesday and Thursday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls/trainers, plain joggers (no branding), school jumper for outdoors. Please remove earrings for PE.
World Book Week
The children have enjoyed all the lovely activities that have been going on in school all week and this finished with a wonderful dress up day. The children looked amazing!
