KS1 Class News 07.02.25

In Maths, 1TS have been developing their knowledge of place value within 20. They can confidently partition teen numbers into tens and ones using a range of different equipment. They have used their knowledge to complete number tracks to 20 and to identify one more and one less than a number within 20.

1MG and 1AC have been working hard on division this week. They have been dividing by 2, using pictorial and concrete strategies to support where needed. Well done Year 2!

In English, 1TS have been using adjectives to describe! The children enjoyed a sensory session where they could explore a range of different objects and then thought of some exciting adjectives to describe them.

1MG and 1AC have been exploring imperative verbs this week in English. They have a great understanding of how and when to use a command.

In DT, 1MG and1AC have designed and created their own telescopes!

ITS have been working hard in Art creating some beautiful dot work!
