Class news 7.7.23

We’re coming to the end of our final term in Y4, but we’re still super busy! This week we published our non-chronological reports all about rivers. We included lots of interesting facts. In maths, we began our work on shape and position and direction. We found symmetry tricky, but we’ll continue to work on it next week. In PE, we held a football tournament on Tuesday afternoon. Well done to Layla’s team who were the overall winners. We also had some children represent us at football competitions this week. Well done to all the children who took part. We had a trophy and lots of medals to celebrate our success. In art with Miss Howley, we continued to develop our sewing skills. We’re looking forward to finishing our sea creatures before the end of term. On Wednesday, we were in for a treat as our Y6 children performed ‘Shakespeare Rocks’ for us. We were blown away by their talent. Well done and thank you Y6.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Remember our class assembly is next Tuesday at 2pm. We hope to see you then.

POW

In 2SB, our POW is Zheer. Zheer has worked hard all week and shown a great attitude to his learning. Well done Zheer.

From 2HH, our POW is Layla. Layla can always be relied upon to try her best. Well done Layla.

Super Spellers

Our spellings must have been tricky this week as we only had 1 10/10 in 2SB. Well done to Kiziah.

In 2HH, Laila, Finnley, Zach, Ava, Gagandeep all scored an impressive 10/10.

Well done to the following children who have read at least 3 times this week-

Laila, D’arcy, Zach, Ahmed, Willow, Harry, Amina, Layla, Isabelle, Ava, Gagandeep and Cruz in 2HH.
