Class news 10.3.23

We would like to start our class news this week by saying a very big WELL DONE to all of our children for their effort this week. We have carried out many assessments this week which has helped us form a picture of where our children are and where we need to go next.

Once all of our assessments were completed we continued planning our very own ‘Escape to Pompeii’ stories. In Maths we worked together to solve a ‘Matilda Mystery’ which was fun! In Science we used digestive biscuits, bananas, orange juice and a pair of tights to recreate what happens to food in the digestive system! Ask us about it! We enjoyed a variety of outdoor games in PE and learned some more information about volcanoes and tectonic plates in Topic.

Please don’t forget that school is closed to pupils on Monday 13th March so we will see you back on Tuesday 14th March. Have a lovely weekend and stay warm!
