We’re at the end of a very busy, challenging week. This week in Y4, we tackled our Autumn assessments. We’re so proud of the effort and concentration all of the children displayed throughout the week. Super job everyone! We began the week with a very special visit. Louie Stowell, a fantastic author, visit KS2 and led an amazing workshop. The children even created their own characters and story with her. In english this week, we made our final edits to our Dream Giver stories and we ended the week publishing them. We’re sure there’ll be Golden Book entries next week in our celebration assembly. In Science, we had lots of fun investigating pitch with a range of instruments. It was a very noisy start to our Friday. We also began learning our songs for Carols around the tree, which takes place on Thursday 8th December at 3.30. We hope to see lots of you there.
Have a lovely weekend everyone and enjoy the football tonight. Come on England!
In 2SB, for fantastic effort in all assessments this week, our POW is Oscar. I am so proud of you Oscar.
From 2HH, our POW is D’Arcy. D’Arcy has worked hard all week and always brings a smile to our class. Well done.
Well done to the following children who have read at least 3 times this week:

A HUGE well done to 2HH. Every single child in your class made a super effort and read at least 3 times this week. WOW! Well done 2HH. You’re all reading super stars.
Times Table Stars
The following children scored 10/10 on our times table quiz this week, which was focused on our 12 x tables.
This week in our KS2 assembly, two children from Y4 were awarded our special respect awards. Well done to Charlie in 2SB and Gagandeep from 2HH. Charlie is always kind and considerate to others. Gagandeep always uses lovely manners. Well done boys. You’re both great role models.
