Class news 4.11.22

We’re at the end of our first week of our second half term already! We had a great first week back. In maths, we continued with our work on addition and subtraction, solving tricky problems. During our english lessons, we used the ‘Dream giver’ video as inspiration for our own story. This week we planned them and we’re looking forward to drafting them next week. In PE, we began to develop our football skills with Mrs Short. Well done to Pearl and Finley who were picked as stars of the session. We also started our new topic ‘Wild Weather, Crazy Climate’. We looked at climate zones and the difference between weather and climate. We ended the week with a music lesson focusing on Vivaldi’s Winter and in P4C we read the story ‘The Worrysaurus’ and shared our thoughts and ideas.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

*Please bring in an empty plastic bottle next week. We will be using them to make rain gauges*
